A man was stabbed to death in a home in Sydney east.
Emergency services attended the residence on Murrabin Avenue, Matraville at around 6.15pm on Tuesday following a report of an ‘incident’.
A crime scene was established after the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Local officers, assisted by the State Crime Squad’s homicide unit, have launched an investigation.

A woman was arrested nearby and is helping with their investigations.
